Our Services

Since 2009, we have helped older adults find purpose and joy through conversation, activities and outings.

After more than a decade in business, we've learned that seniors can feel socially isolated, whether they live at home or in a facility.

Engage As You Age is the solution. We thoughtfully pair people based on shared interests and personalities, resulting in decreased loneliness, increased happiness and improved quality of life.

We work with seniors who have a range of physical and cognitive abilities. Whether your loved one has dementia, Alzheimer's or physical limitations, we can bring the world and meaningful connection to his or her doorstep.

Here are just a few examples of the many older adults who can benefit from our services:

  • Is your mother feeling "off" in a new assisted living facility? Our visits can ease the transition and offer her a social outlet.

  • Is your father living in a memory care unit and aware that the people around him are much more confused than he is? We can match him with someone who has the look and feel of a friend, to either visit on-site or take him out in the community for a sense of normalcy.

  • Is your grandmother living at home with 24-hour care? We can bring someone into her life who feels like an old friend, to talk with her about what she loves most.

  • Are you physically stuck at home or in your room at an assisted living or nursing home? We can bring the outside world to you.

  • Are you living at home independently but starting to feel isolated? We're an easy way to bring outside resources to you, enhancing—not taking away—your independence.

All of our programs rely on trained, fully-vaccinated, insured, bonded and carefully selected employees. We always customize our programs to meet your specific needs.

ONE-ON-ONE VISITS

Led by carefully screened and matched Activity Specialists, our one-on-one visits stimulate and enhance social interactions while giving immediate family members a respite from continuing care responsibilities.

Visits are offered in your home or in assisted living, continuing care, and board and care facilities. We also can take your loved one to parks, museums, or can design creative outings you may not think of on your own. Every pairing and visit is customized to meet your loved one's needs.

We have a two-hour minimum for visits, and we only charge you for the time we spend with you or your loved one. There are no additional travel fees.

GROUP PROGRAMS

We offer group discussions and classes at retirement facilities. Sessions last 1-2 hours, and are available for a wide range of subjects and activites. These classes aren’t lectures. They’re informal–yet informative–discussion groups led by experienced teachers of history, politics, literature, theater, art and crafts.

What Our Clients Say

"Our mom has a number of handicaps, not unlike other seniors, that make it very difficult for her to participate in activities or become engaged with others in a way that helps keep her connected. Her mind is lively, but her body is not. Ben found someone who would be able to really connect with Mom. Her name is Bridget, and not only is Mom happy with her, but Mom looks forward to Bridget’s visits. Our whole family talks about her as if she were part of the family."
